In a celebration of the work of master animator, Hayao Miyazaki, at the world-renowned Studio Ghibli, Presage broadens its scope to encompass contemporary Japanese art with this Limited Edition timepiece based on the classic character of Porco Rosso, a 1920s aviator ' and pig ' dedicated to protecting the skies over the Adriatic. Available only in a single run of 600, this unique timepiece includes a caseback engraved with the serial number as well as the image of the daring Porco Rosso and his motto 'A pig that does not fly is just a pig,' in Italian, with the name of his plane, Savoia S-21 on the case side. The red, white and green Italian colors appear on the black enamel chronograph dial, and as contrast stitching on the black crocodile strap. Offering chronograph timing, the 34-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours, and can be wound manually or automatically. Crafted of stainless steel with super-hard coating, screwdown see-through caseback, additional red crocodile strap, and tri-fold push button release clasp. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant.
